Grammarly Review (continued and updated)

Grammarly review

Writing in English may be harder and more challenging than expected as it involves various elements that need to be considered while doing it: grammar, spelling, word count, spacing, type font, context, wording etc. So, it takes a bit of hard work to come up with a prospering article if you take all these features of writing into account. However, there are numerous tools that could help you at least in some of these attributions and make it easier to finish your work with inner peace. This kind of tools help you put your ideas into words which are ‘rescued’ from any kind of misspelling or grammatical mistakes.

Nowadays, it is super popular to benefit from grammar checking software when writing since they provide you with practical and accurate corrections that could take your article to the next level. You might think that you would be able to check your grammar and proofread your work yourself, yet it might not always be that easy to catch errors and find mistakes in your own works, especially if you are dealing with a deadline.

Grammarly, one of the most popular grammar checking tools – mostly in top 3 worldwide regarding the reviews and the user statistics – is there for you to fix your possible errors. Launched back in 2009, in Ukraine; Grammarly is a software that helps you improve your grammar. It is a mobile software which can be downloaded on iOS and Android with a third-party keyboard, and could also be downloaded on Chrome, Firefox and Safari to be used via the browser.

There are three different pricing listed for the account you would sign up for: a Free account, a Premium account and a Business Account.

Free Account: Within the free account, you benefit from spelling and punctuation check which is really basic and leads you to rule out any errors. So it helps you change the word in terms of the context of wording. It also allows you to access (in limits) to something called conciseness as well, which simply means making your work easy to follow by providing smaller, clearer sentences.

Premium Account: The Premium account – as you would probably have suggested from the word premium – requires a subscription fee, which is billed annually and is slightly over $10 per month (if you want to go for only the monthly membership, then the price goes up to +29.95). Even though it pricing may sound a bit expensive, it is actually quite helpful if you are providing articles on a regular basis as the better your writings are, the more you would be successful in your works. You get all the features as in the Free Account, and as extra, you would get a ‘consistency’ in spelling and punctuation, which means that Grammarly warns you to use the same words and plotting all through your article. There is also another feature called ‘readability’ which basically gives you recommendations on re-writing your sentences to be much more understandable by the audience. And there is also this awesome bit called the ‘compelling vocabulary’ where it finds you better words replace basic ones (e.g. exceptional, elegant, terrific instead of very good). There are also much more features as you would discover by digging down deep.

Business Account: The business account has all of the premium features, yet it also has several extra features such as assigning an admin for the group and billing from a particular centre. So it is a great system for teams of 3 to 149, however, it requires $12.50 for every single member per month.

Conclusion: Is it worth it?

Definitely worth it. Remember, you are what you write and how you write. Your impression is priceless.
