- Similarly, several letters, when read unescorted, sound the same, so you have to either look up the words when writing it down or memorize the words as a whole. Hence, you would not misuse a made-up word instead of the one you need (e.g. captain & kaptain / license & licence / consensus & concensus).
- Besides the same sounding letters, there are also other called the silent letters. Since these letters are not read when pronunciated, they may be mistakenly not put into the words when writing too. Therefore, these words should, likewise, be taken into proper consideration when writing (e.g. know, psychology, scene, foreign, wrestle).
- There are several certain differences that may lead to having difficulties in spelling too. Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), dyslexia and a few other learning and thinking differences bring forth drawbacks in writing. In terms of tackling this struggle, people with such challenges need to work more in written forms rather than listening and speaking. They also need to take their time, not rush and slow as much as possible to have a writing full of words which are error free.
